Chris Heaton-Harris MP proposed an amendment that sought to limit the scope of the EU’s ‘Europe for Citizens’ programme which included the attempt to stop expenditure under the programme from being used to fund the promotion of European Union citizenship, integration or institutions. This amendment was opposed by the Government, thus allowing more EU propaganda in the UK.
